Latrabjarg is the largest bird-cliff in Iceland at staggering 14 km length and 441 m high. Latrabjarg is the home of the puffin and is the western most point of Iceland and some say Europe.
In Latrabjarg the Puffin is not afraid – you can get very close. Excellent for photographers.
The largest colony of Razorbill (Alca torda) in the world is in Latrabjarg.
Latrabjarg is just over one hour drive from Bjarkarholt Guesthouse. Raudisandur is close to Latrabjarg and is a must see, just a small detour.
A part of the way is on gravel road, be prepared to drive slowly and enjoy the scenery.
