Westfjords in Northwestern part of Iceland

Westfjords, large peninsula in Northwestern Iceland and the area is the oldest and wildest region in Iceland. Remote and beautiful with endless of fjords, mountains, waterfalls, and other worth seeing wonders of nature.  It is fantastic to experience the midnight sun during the summer and in the wintertime the Westfjords are a great place to watch the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).

In our neighborhood are amongst Icelands greatest tourist attractions. LatrabjargRaudisandur and the beautiful and magnificent waterfall Dynjandi.

A few miles away is Surtabrandsgil. Surtabrandsgil is very well know for its fossils as you can find up to 12 million year old fossils.

There is a beautiful natural spring here as well as a swimming pool.
